Raised in North Battleford Saskatchewan the youngest of four. Sara had many passions some of which  included cooking, theatre, music and travel. Sara received her Nursing certificate in Saskatoon and went on to receive certificates in Accupressure, Therapeutic Touch, Reflexology and Reiki. 

Sara moved to Stratford in 1987 with her son Adam. Sara was an active member of the Stratford Friends of the Festival, St. James Anglican Church and the Southern Cruisers Riding Club of Kitchener/Waterloo. Sara took up riding the last two years and became a enthusiastic member of the motorcycling community. Her smile, giggles and hugs that she always offered up to members gave you a special warmth within. Her dramatic and comedic ability to story telling  always put laughter in the air. Her small stature, strength, endurance and spunk is how she earned her nick name "SPITFIRE" with the Southern Cruisers.
